Program Manager - Billing

Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking a Program Manager - Billing for our Program Quality Department who will supervise a team that supports case managers and service providers with troubleshooting billing issues related to services provided under both Medicaid Waiver and State General Fund. This role will also oversee development and delivery of reports related to case management revenue streams, including targeted case management (TCM) and other contract deliverables.
 
Program managers are subject matter experts who possess strong organizational, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills, and use judgment to make business decisions based on the needs of the department or program. They lead their teams to deliver outcomes for internal and external partners while maintaining confidentiality, assuring rights are protected, and adhering to the organization's mission, vision, and values.
 
This is a 40-hour week, hybrid position, working remotely and coming into our headquarters office in Aurora, CO and/or off-site locations, as needed.

Requirements 
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination education and/or experience
 
Preferred
  • Experience with supervision and/or project management
  • Working knowledge of the Medicaid Long Term Care system
Responsibilities 
  • Coordinates with DP’s Finance team to ensure accurate billing for TCM revenue as well as waiver-funded purchases facilitated by DP as part of the Organized Healthcare Delivery System (OHCDS)
  • Collaborates with other teams and departments to solve procedural and specific billing problems
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and trend analysis related to billing
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned staff to ensure timely processing, submission, and distribution of reports, data, and work. Fosters and maintains an inclusive team with productive team cohesion and dynamics
  • Observe, directly supervise, evaluate, and document performance and assure performance evaluations are completed and reviewed for all assigned staff. Address staff disciplinary issues in consultation with Associate Director and Human Resources
  • Coach and mentor staff to improve quality of documentation, deadlines, and soft skills, as needed
  • Participate in the hiring process for open positions, as needed
  • Lead and collaborate with others on all aspects of project management, with emphasis on stakeholder communication, resource availability, and impact to the community
  • Ensure all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines regarding persons served, processes, and funding are met. Ensure timely and efficient completion of documentation for funding continuity
  • Ensure workloads are covered in the event of absenteeism and/or staff vacancies /monitors workloads, as appropriate
  • Successfully complete and update required training; participate effectively and appropriately and ensuring training completion for staff
